Caio Megale, Economist
Caio joined the Macroeconomic Research team of Itaú Unibanco in January 2011. He previously worked as an economist at Lloyds Bank, Gávea Investimentos and Mauá Investimentos. Caio holds a bachelor’s degree from USP, a master’s degree from PUC-Rio and he was an Economics professor at PUC-Rio and at Insper-SP. Caio writes for economic and financial newspaper Valor Econômico and América Economia magazine.
Thiago Aragao, Political Consultant
Thiago de Aragão is a partner at Arko Advice, a leading political consultancy in Latin America. Thiago does strategy and intelligence consulting work for several governments, the main rating agencies and some of the largest companies in the world. He is an active contributor to a number of foreign policy think tanks in France and the UK, and he also lectures for investors in NYC on the Latin American context on a regular basis. He is a regular columnist for the main Brazilian news group: Agencia Estado de São Paulo and for the Argentinean newspaper BAE Negocios.
Thiago has represented Brazil on the G-8 Young Summit and worked as an adviser for the Brazilian Vice-President during the first semester of 2015.
Thiago was invited by the governments of US, Canada, UK, France, Argentina, Dominican Republic, China among others to make presentations on Brazilian and Latin American political risk.
