Award winning Danish guitarist Mikkel Lynggaard (born 1990) started playing guitar at the age of 9. In 2015, he gratuaded with top marks from the Master’s Programme after having studied under the tutelage of Frederik Munk Larsen, Marco Socías and Antonio Duro. He constantly seeks to develop his skills as a concert artist and will soon finish his studies in the advanced post graduate programme with associate professor Frederik Munk Larsen in the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus, Denmark. Furthermore, he is studying with professor Antonio Duro at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel Castillo in Seville, Spain. Alongside his studies, Mikkel has participated in a series of master classes with internationally renowned musicians such as Leo Brouwer, Marcin Dylla, David Russell, Carlos Bonell, and many others.
